Dear AYUSA-Team,

I've now been in New Zealand for two weeks and I'm enjoying staying here in the best country of the world very much!

I'm in a very lovely host family and I feel part of it. I've a Saudi-Arabic host brother and I get on really well with him.

I'm living in Hamilton and so I go to Fraser High School. It's a great school and we have many opportunities in what we can do in our free time. It's a big school with 1800 students and it's quite different from the schools in Germany. We can choose between so many subjects. So I'm trying out some, which I don't have the opportunity in Germany. I've chosen for example Environmental Improvement, Photography, Music (which is quite different from Music in Germany), Geography, PE and ESOL. I'm trying to go surfing and doing canoe polo with the school.

I've been on some nice trips to beautiful beaches with my host family. They also visited Rotorua with me. I'm really happy to have the opportunity to stay with such a nice family. Thank you for that!

I'm really enjoying my time here in New Zealand!
