"I am studying English because it is necessary for my later career and it will allow me the flexibility to work in a foreign country. I also like the English language. At Intrax, I feel very happy.

I made friends with my classmates, they are nice and personable people. I like my classes. They are really interesting. I found the Idioms Focus Class the most useful because idioms in English are everywhere. My favourite Intrax activities were watching a Vancouver Giants hockey game and participating in the soccer tournament and soccer club. After school I usually study English and do my homework.

I also like to go out with my friends. We joined a few house parties with Canadians, they spoke really fast, but it was good practice. On the weekends I do many different things, for example go to Stanley Park, Metrotown (large shopping mall) and the Auto Show. I liked my homestay experience. I liked the family’s dogs. My host mother and father are eager and caring. I also got along well with my host brother, who is almost the same age as me. My advice to new students is don’t only spend time with people from your country. Also, everybody makes his or her own experience, so it’s up to you!"
