An intern in this role will assist the senior estimating staff to research methods and material, gather proposals from sub-contractors and obtain quotes from vendors. The intern will also maintain material inventory lists and create material assemblies to be used in construction estimating.

Interns would work in close cooperation with their supervisor and our Director of Marketing at or US office, which has a total of 15 employees. We also have an office in Indonesia.

Our legal interns engage in a wide range of activities including client contact, writing, legal research, legal document preparation and assistance in case matters. They are also given numerous opportunities to accompany the lawyers to trials, court appearances and mediations and often assist the attorneys in these fora.

Specific goals are left up to the discretion of the individual. We make every opportunity available. It is up to the individual to pursue opportunities and in their area of interest. For example, if we see an upcoming mediation on the calendar, they are encouraged to contact the responsible attorney to attend. Or to second seat a trial. It is our hope and intention that they learn about the legal system of justice, be exposed to employment discrimination in the workplace law, in particular, and experience every aspect of the process from client intake to demand letter to mediation to litigation to settlement. We believe this is an important area of law and want to expose new lawyers to this area to consider as a specialization to serve those who need representation.

Interns are guided and mentored by a partner or associate and encouraged to ask questions. We provide templates for every document we utilize. Interns are encouraged to attend as many court appearances as possible and to participate fully in any and all matters - In this way, they see a case from start to finish.

Our team is traveling a lot but somebody will always accompany the intern on our business trips.The intern will learn how a business and a non-profit is run!
We are looking to grow in many areas that the intern will be able to explore, such as: PR/Communications, Program Development (Research & Evaluation, Monitoring Evaluation Tools), Marketing, Social Media, Graphic Design.

The intern will be trained in creating design elements for online and offline media including print. The intern will learn how to follow the company’s corporate identity and branding guidelines, how to create intelligent website designs and gets the opportunity to come up with new ideas on how to make the website better and easier to read.

The role of the intern will be to assist the Business Development team in building the RFP Channel and Local Partner awareness. Required activities include researching and signing up for municipal, state, and school bidding systems, as well as researching and compiling a list of local partners.

You will be in charge of your location’s social media streams, so we need you to be able to craft cool content that will engage our current members and bring new people into the company's galaxy. You’ll need to be able to manage our Facebook and Twitter feeds, and, with the support of the Community Builder, be the brains behind our social media campaigns.

You will be working directly with the Community Curator and Community Builder (the duo that runs each location) and interacting with every community member at the space, so you need to feel comfortable in social situations. A large part of the job is making sure that our members are engaged and really feel that they are part of the community, and they look to the staff (including the intern) to make this happen.

Interns will have intense exposure to our work as we:

• Run client engagements from start to finish, including planning, directing, and completing tax projects;
• Deliver a full range of tax compliance services including tax research, tax preparation, technical memoranda and client correspondence;
• Represent high net worth individuals before the IRS, including but not limited to voluntary disclosure cases (OVDI) and FBAR filings;
• Structure transfer of wealth in an international setting, including trust and estate work;
• File partnership returns (domestic and international partners) as well as identify PFICs;
• Identify application of double tax treaties in complex tax cases;
• Draft articles on groundbreaking international tax questions for German language tax publications and/or our own regular newsletter.

Interns will be assigned to a “tax team” and work closely with the respective associates and the manager on that team on all client affairs that team is involved in. Any work will definitely always circle around issues in the international tax arena.

Interns will be assigned to the Translations Department and partnered with a project manager. They will work on project management tasks, including but not limited to, document alignment, translation memory management, and quality review. Interns will be required to use Translation Management System (TMS) software and Computer Assisted Translation tools (CAT tools). They may be assigned as part of a translation team on documents deemed appropriate and to create marketing campaigns and social media.
